Sky Shogun Jin Wendatto is the leader of the
Xia Shogunate. As Sky Shogun he has the ultimate authority within the Shogunate and commands the daimyos, warlords, and governmental officers.
Jin Wendatto is a known immortal and claims to come from the Wendatto line of sapphire dragons. He is a skilled fighter and tactician and is modern history's most clever general. After usurping power from the previous Sky Shogun nearly 200 years ago, Jin Wendatto has made it his goal to create the most resilient and capable nation he could. He has spent many of his early decades as leader fighting off various warlords who sought control. Once the
Lion's Share Confederacy turned face the Sky Shogun claimed that it was revealed to him that it is his divine duty to unite all the Isles in order to fend off further invasion.
The Sky Shogun is known to have a brash personality, often using force and fear to reach his goals. Behind his eager and forceful personality however, rests a brilliant and cunning mind. His natural charisma and leadership skills have kept his state in relative internal peace for many decades now; but the threat of civil unrest and mutiny, whether warranted or not, has caused him to panic and much stress in recent years.
The Sky Shogun lives and rules out of
[The Sundered Halls], a massive fortress built into the cliff face of a mountain on a remote island in the
[Sea of Fangs]. When traveling the state he uses a massive fortified warship called
[The Beckoning] which houses his personal detachment of soldiers.
