The Holy Concordance

The people of the Greenwold worship a pantheon of gods - from the glorious god of the sun, to the ferocious god of war – each with their own clergy and churches. Just as the gods will collaborate to influence the universe, so do their priests sometimes assemble to work in common cause.
Not a conventional church or temple, the Holy Concordance is a confederation of high priests from the major religions worshiped in the realm - convening as necessary to deal with great issues that concern all faiths. Together, they can make momentous decisions that hold a weight greater than any single church can impart.
In times of dire need or great importance, the Holy Concordance will call upon its member churches to send to them champions who may be charged with a holy quest.

Structure

Council of high priests from each of the churches with an elected "High Priest" that serves as the figurehead for the organization as a whole and presides over all council meetings.

Divine Origins

The Holy Concordance was created in order to preside over issues that affected all religions of the major deities within the Greenwold.  It began with the Church of Time and Church of the Red and quickly grew to incorporate all the major religions of the Greenwold.

Priesthood

To be considered a Priest within the Holy Concordance you must be a Priest within one of the member churches, and priesthood is bestowed upon those who apply.
To be part of the council you must have 12 years as a priest within the Concordance, but most don't obtain Council status with under 30 years of dedicated service to their faith and the Concordance.
