Sewers of Grayhaven

While some of the sewers are close to the surface and frequented by city folk, much of it was built on the ruins of the Old City. Mostly collapsed, these labyrinthine passages hold hidden treasures and dangers to this day. A party who’s progress is blocked may end up wandering closer to these older, more dangerous ruins.

Fantastic Sewers

Sewers are more than just underground tunnels that smell bad - particularly in a world rife with magic, mystery and monsters! For cities that have been around as long as Grayhaven this is doubly true.   Antediluvian waterways, labyrinthine catacombs, natural caverns, monster warrens and forgotten ruins all intertwine in the twisted, unmappable mess the folk of Grayhaven simply call - the sewers.   The city of Grayhaven has been occupied continually for millennium. Built, razed, and re-built more times than anyone can properly say, the modern day sewers are little more than re-purposed ruins left behind by previous generations.   These ruins of “The Old City” were built in a previous age when the world was at peace. The War of the Dragons, which devastated the Greenwold, also shattered the city of Grayhaven and its people. The history is lost, but the ruins remain.   Nobles fund the maintenance of the important sewage channel, but these relatively well-maintained areas are only a small portion of the whole. Some even say you can follow the sewers all the way down into the depths of the earth itself.
