Personal history

As a child Diligence was neglected by her parents who never wanted a child, and ignored by most others because she was small and didn’t have much of a presence. This created a belief in her that the other people didn’t truly exist and so would only notice her, the only person that truly existed, if she made them notice her. Naturally, this meant violence.
