Two newcomers arrived at Deadpoint last evening. A halfing by the name of Nick, and a sturdy human fellow named Karick, I believe. They are reportedly here to pursue treasure and other fine rewards. According to our friends at the CEE and AOS, the duo had a successful foray to Dorbard South and installed a wind stave atop one of its hills. They also reported of strange statues and the possibility of a population of Ambush Drakes in the area.

When asked to remark on these events, Karick said, "Walking statues? Is the apocalypse upon us?" His meaning was unclear and he did not elaborate on the matter.
