Terrestrial Cast

Valiant soul’s back was on the ground, pinned down by the massive wooden beast above her, all that held the monster away from snapping its jaw around her body and ending her life was a bolt action rifle that the terrestrial Equinarian had managed to get into the maw of the reeking monstrosity.
It was now do or die, many others had faltered in this position, many others had been made sustenance for the great Timbertrees within that dark forest, but Valiant would not allow such a fate, with a tending of muscles and a roaring defiance, she called upon the power innate to her kin, as she pushed the rifle upwards, staggering the beast and managing to get a split second opening.
That split second was all it took for the well-trained protector to take the shot, shooting of the magically propelled projectile straight through the seed within the core of the monstrosity, it soon crumbled, unable to maintain itself without its oh so valuable ‘heart’.
