Shaa'Tali

A city surrounding the spire oasis of Munazam-Alic, at the base of this spire lay a Gateway to the elemental plane of water.


The tall spire has a top area which is about 250 meters across. the spire itself is a two level formation, the first is a rough cylinder of 200 meters hight with a 200 meter diameter. the spire at this center is then 600 meter tall, with the before mentioned 250 diameter hollow core.
roughly 83 square kilometers of city lay at the foot of this spire.

Infrastructure

The City of Shaa'Tali can be sectioned of into four major parts.  

The Citadel (Pending better designation)

Within the inner wall you find the grand lake, the spire that has made the city famous and the gardens of Shaa.

a six meter deep base, tapering to a five meter wide walkway eight meter above the ground, the city wall is more a relic of the past then a major defensive fortification.  

Arachnid Path

The part of the city most defined by its role in times of Crisis for Delech-Achin, the fact that buildings are expected to be torn down if Serket Needs to drink before battle.

Guilds and Factions

The Priesthood of the Watters:

outwards known as the defacto rulers of Shaa'Tali, the preisthood of the waters are lead by a head preist, who acts as the head of cermonies, the decision maker on large scale efforts to be made in regards to the city, as well as acting as a judicial individual, partly to anyone who makes their way up the whole spire within a day to ask his judgement on their issues, partly once a year, on the longest night, comming down to the plaza of harvest in the citadel to help settle any disputes that are brought before him. offten, this preist will also have a partner who acts as the mediator with the elementals within the spire, though this role is also taken on my the head preist until they find a partner.
Further Notes on the title of head priest is that the title is almost exclusively held by male clerics, though the partner they take has no requirements as to their gender, it is customary that the head head priest chooses someone which whom they can bare children, in order to further their dynasty and avoid potential strife in a shift of lineage.

The farmers Guild:

the vast lands that Shaa'tali arogate has given rise to the farmers guild, a collective of the managers of fields that together assure that every aspect of the food bringing of the city runs like the water in the channels.

Thives Guild

lead by a charismatic Tabaxi by the name of Bolt Rayis and his Scorpioid wife Alsaytara Simam (Tail included) the thives guild is a force to be reckoned with, and largely known to be the ones who really keep the vast majority of Shaa'Tali safe and running smoothly.

Geography

Three rivers flow out from the lake at Munazam-Alic's Base, Bahr to the north, Mayiy to the south and Ma'an to the west.

The River Bahr is known for being the closest path to the ocean from Shaa'Tali
Mayiy (S)
The River Mayiy is the bread bringer of the city, the one that was lead into vast fields of arigation
Ma'an (W)
The river Ma'an is known for its beautiful start, the waterfall of the west where the sunset shimmers. as well as the bathhouses along its course.
