Old Title: The Scorpion City (Serket/SetKet?)

Infrastructure

The city is sectioned after the plates of the scorpion, wider roads going across the folds to let the scorpion fold if it where to walk again. other then that, the temple is set near the head, walled in. the buildings give a jagged shiluette, as they are also highted after the form of the folded Scorpion (sorry for poor writing here, writen in a tired moment.)

Assets

The area all around Setket has dens of giant scorpions, being a functional protine suply for th city.

Guilds and Factions

The sultan:

The current sultan, Baniti, aged 37 years, they have a daughter, Iltani, age 17 and a son, Gina, marely two years old. (Ages set after year 1496 C-XIII)

The Six High Mages/Advicors

Six mages working as advicers for the sultan, The Diviner, the Transmuter, the Name master, the evocer, the Ilusionist and the Death whisperer.
Diviner Alazin
Known as the one who sees all, Alazin seldom show their face, but when they do, slim features with sly eyes look out from bellow the robes, giving a sense to those who speak of them that the person they stood before already knew them.
Transmuter Agma-nut
A woman who has the affinity for magic such as to let her turn a silven shal to a steel blade with a twitch of the wirst, Agma-nut is a fearsome foe in battle, but mostly works as a echonomic advicer.
Name Master Ah'g-bar
Seldom speaking his own name, this is a master of the art of learning a persons innermost nature, offten working with Alazin to learn more names to add to his scrolls.
Evocer Erathil Alazat
A master of elemental magics, Erathil is the sultans main advicer in war, as well as the overseer of the Serket Guard force, working as their first contact within the temple. (male)
Ilusionist Karath'Ilith
Working as the sultans advicer on matters of celebrations, festivities, and all things related to keeping the people in a good spirit, Karath'Ilith (offten asking to only be called "Karath") is a individual who sees their duty as being to the people, even if their oath is to the Sultan. (female)
Death Whisperer Agalin Al'hazred
A woman who is feared and spoken of only in hushed tones, and one who even the Sultan rather not seek the advice from, Agalin has access to the crypts within the desert holding rulers long past, as well as the skills to ask their advice in times of need.

 

The Claw:

The guard and enforcer elements. the head of the guard is Orach Nepa, a womman with a strong stare who strikes fear where she strides.

The secret service lead by Stinger Leiru Qwin-quest.

The High presthood of Setket

lead by the current Hotten-Totta (elder druid?), Is'galth-a. and the two under preists who manage the temples of war, Nadine Irich-ech Serket and Iliath Irich-ech Serket.

Architecture

The Architecture of Darach-Serket is built in such a way as to make it easy to defend in times of war. Much of the architecture mimics many trends in the wider dessert, many buildings finding themselves designed in a squarical form, but one notable detail is the basement level of each building, where it closest connects to the plates of the Great mother bellow, where arrow slits covered up by wooden trapdoors which, in a case of Serket rising, could be opened up to turn any street into a death zone.     Serapace

Within six miles of Serkets lair populations of giant scorpions are unusaly great.
