Imperial Court

The bureaucratic oligarchy that runs much of the day to day and year to year business of the Empire is the Imperial Court comprised of the leaders of the eighteen highest noble families:
Princess Livina Purelight, Duchess Beatrice Sunscar, Duchess Ivkina Nithem, Duke Chichikov Yakovna, Duke Husaam al-Rasheed, Duchess Isolde Ranwolf, Duke Harold Bechtholdt, Duchess Hukrola Trollborn, Duke Eridol Icebeard, Duke Dubrael Redriver, Duchess Nofolyn Darkshield, Duke Erolith Sylberos, Duchess Keena Uridan, Duke Conall Glyndark, Duke Urgan of the Blood of Arkor (only Blood Orc in office, 5 years in office)
Emperor Ulrich Purelight II is the figurehead and face of the empire while the court deals with any problems or issues facing the empire. Queen Sofiya also works with adminstrative duties in the empire, particularly with inter-religious conflicts. The three children of the Emperor are all adults and are in various stages of grooming to become the next Emperor/Empress.
