Lolth
Lolth is often worshipped by Drow . She is the queen of spiders, intrigue and lies. She often pits her followers against eachother, to cull the weak.
She is the disowned daughter of Lathander. Myth tells that she turned to the darkest part of her mother's, Sylvania , essence after being seduced by the spider Ansi in the woods who led her astray.
When next she was heard of in the known world, it was through a fanatic cult of elves worshipping her and seizing power, plunging the proud elven cities into bloodshed and darkness.
Her worship led to Obran The Tyrant betraying the high elf kingdom, murdering the royal family and culminating in the tragic events that would end in The battle of Imeth Dorei where a large portion of the Elvish race would be forever cursed and become known as the Drow .
