Cyric

The Prince of Lies (a.k.a. Bedine, Mask)

An Old Power currently imprisoned in a prismatic palace within the Realm of the Dead (Gehenna) as penance for granting mortals certain knowledge. He was once worshipped by the Netherese, and there is still a subset that follow him, even in his imprisonment. He is known as the Prince of Lies and is brother to Erebos.   He’s offered to resurrect Tinwë in exchange for her freeing him from the palace that imprisons him. He gave her 30 days to decide what deal she would take. He claims the Cosmos is at “an inflection point." Tinwë has taken him up on his offer.   Also known as Bedine the Muse, and Mask.

Personal history

Bedine the Muse was once a servant of Primus, Ssendam, and Mystra. Cyric did not agree with the decision to keep magic among the Powers and their proxies, and stole the power of the gods to give to mortals. In doing so, this killed Mystra, and Selune and Shar were born from her body. Cyric was then punished by the other Powers and exiled to Gehenna, which is where they met Tinwë.
