Half-Elf

Uncommon without being rare, half-elves have one Human  parent and one Elven parent, or are born of half-elves. They are more robust than most elves but nonetheless less physically imposing than most humans. Although major cities like Southport have substantial half-elven populations, smaller communities, especially homogeneous human or elven settlements such as Tasdan  or Lillisea, respectively, can’t help but feel alienated from their half-elven brethren, and engender a feeling of alienation in return. Nonetheless, having a foot in two worlds inculcates diplomatic instincts in many half-elves.
