Luft

Luft is a little rocky planet with big oceans covering much of its surface. It has a lot of tectonic plates, that have created hundreds of archipelagos all around the planet. The city of Loo is the capital, and it's known by having a lot of casinos.

Geography

Luft only has one big continent and lots of archipelagos, and is characterized by a lot of volcanic activity and deep oceans where the tectonic plates converge into each other.

Fauna & Flora

Luft has one of the most famous animals in the galaxy, the Rbutor, a HUGE whale of 38 meters capable of destroying boats only by ramming into them. Also, the Tripia is a little white flower with 7 petals, an endemic plant related with good luck. It is thought that if a person can find a bluish or reddish Tripia, that person is going to find its most desired wish, and since the city of Loo is the capital city of Luft and it is packed with casinos, people usually go there.   Generally, the archipelagos have high density jungles or forests and the swamps have long rooted trees called Trepina, that are basically huge mangroves with big roots that start outside the surface but end at the bottom of the swamp or inground.

Natural Resources

The north pole has huge deposits of light metals, but the rest of the planet has also big pockets of a lot of different materials, but as volcanic eruptions are really common, most of the extracted ores have traces of sulfure in them and have to be processes further to make a more pure final product.   When The Empire still ruled Luft, a coin factory was built in Loo in order to provide currency to the planets in the Federation Line. That same factory is still printing money, as people usually need big amounts. In most of the territories of the Colossus Galaxy the only way of paying is with real cash, as a prevention against illegal activities.
