This metal is not so common in nature, but it is resistant to direct hits and light. The counter part is, that it is very expensive and hard to obtain.

Refinement

Not as many metals, Dull needs a large chain to obtain pure Dull from the ore. When it is mined, it is always mixed with other materials as sulfur or Adamio. The most common formulas are DO⁴ and DS⁴ (Dull Oxide and Dull Sulfur).
It then needs to be refined with purification methods as the ionized pools or sand washing to have it completely pure, as the purest material that can be made with Dull is Dull Hydromethacid, a strange material with 95% purity. Its formula is very complex, as it is made in laboratories for some specific uses only, it is D¹²(D²O²H).
Another not so expensive product is the Laminated Dull. As our carbon fiber, in The Colossuss Galaxy Dull can also be made into a textile material, hard enough to even stop Dakkor based bullets.
