Circumspace travel

The circumspace was always a mith, a science achievement that every scientist ever wanted to discover, and that honor was given to Andry Grutta. She was the scientist that led to the eventual discover to a new way of transportation.

Dircovery

Before her discover, interplanetary flights were only possible to those who could afford it, as it had to be planned with a space agency. Diplomats or scientists were usually the candidates. Back then, planets knew the existence of life somewhere in the galaxy. Some years passed as close by planets started to realize their mutual existence. Some years after it, the entire galaxy was already being explored and investigated. Planets started to stablish communications and more than twenty sapient species all around dozens of systems shared information about their worlds and history to the others. Some years after it, planets started to do further diplomatic treaties, but people were still unable to go to planets that were far enough, not even diplomats. Finally, Dr. Grutta came in, with her extensive investigations. She did such a great job that her native world, Azimo approved all her work without even reading it completely. Then, projects started to be make, as also as prototype ships, to prove if the theory was true, and it was. She had just discovered Faster Than Lightspeed Travel.

Repercussion

Her discover started a new era, as new ships were built, and eventually, a couple decades later, galactic-wide trips were a day-to-day thing. Suddenly, companies like Aerial became important from one day to another, and the very first pan-galactic organization appeared: The Alliance. Its creation and later rejection of entry of more sapient and capable planets started to shape the galaxy into a dark future, but for now, let's say Grutta did a very good job. Grutta was nominated and later awarded with the Galactic Science Price, by the Galactic Scientific Bureau after her discoveries in the fields of transportation, cargo management and vehicle building. This would be the first of her many scientific awards.
