Ascendants

The Ascendants are a culture that date back further than even the most ancient of civilizations on Traith. They have influenced the evolution of many cultures, species, galaxies and the multiverse since its creation by The Eight Brothers The Ascendants were the first followers of the Brothers. Having witnessed the strength, wisdom, intelligence, and compassion shown during their rise to prominence. The Ascendants underst9od what the Eight had truly done, given them free will the ability to choose their own destiny instead of blind servitude to The Order Omnipotence . The Ascendants began to form their ideals and beliefs after the teachings and lifestyles of The Eight Brothers
The Brothers were not shy about interacting with the Ascendants. Several of the Eight took multiple partners among the Ascendants and had multiple offspring. These offspring were an entirely new species and came to be known as Descendants .

As the Ascendants began to thrive under the guidance of the Eight their levels of technology advancement grew as well. At the peak of the Ascendants cultural evolution they capable of traveling through deep space as well as the layers of the multiverse through technology as well as magic.

Funerary and Memorial customs

If an Ascendant worshipped one of the The Eight Brothers  specifically they would be tended to in accordance with the burial rites of the Brother. If an Ascendant venerated the entire pantheon their burial rites would be served in accordance with those established for the entire pantheon.
