The Great King Marcard
Biography
A Goliath who has ruled Myriad for many generations, along with the following generations that have yet to pass. From the kingdom's conception during the unification of the minor settlements, Marcard intends to rule until either Myriad falters in battle, or when Nexus is under his reign. Those who speak to Marcard often praised him for his sheer presence alone. From rival factions, and insurrectionists, those who have had the pleasure of speaking to him, note him of being uncannily humble, yet stern; akin to a father figure. It is rumored that the king only wears his reliquary plate mail in order to fend of assassinations, rather than the imposing appearance it gives to the audience."This expedition of ours shall never truly cease... Lest the splintered parts of Nexus are bounded in unison by my hands and its peace finally return; my reign shall remain unaltered and eternal."
