Lavasteam

The only village with a name specific to those who live there ( "Lavarians" ), sizeable village of Lavasteam is built entirely into the side of a dormant volcano on northeast Emina.

Demographics

With the exception of a few, rich inhabitants, most of the population is of the working class.
Many of the inhabitants are Raposa, but a small minority are Elves.

Government

The village is overseen by a Mayor, a title which is hereditarily given to the eldest of the last mayor when he or she retires or dies. The mayor is aided by a taskmaster, who is appointed by the mayor to oversee the well being of the village. The title of mayor is not all powerful, instead, the mayor has limited power, with the majority of their power coming from respect for the title and position.

Industry & Trade

The entirety of the establishment is almost completely mining outposts and it exports huge amounts of metals and ores. Aside from mines, there are multiple smithing establishments, and construction warehouses meant for mechanical engineerings.

Natural Resources

The entire village is built on top of rocky ground, and exposed lava, although there are many regulations in place to avoid any magma related incidents. The ground under the village is filled with many pockets of valuable and useful materials, namely metals and crystals.
