Magnolia Woods
Geography
To anyone looking in from the outside, there is a dark, dense thicket of Crown Forest - too deep and dangerous to traverse. Beyond the glamour, Magnolia Woods is mostly deciduous, unlike its surrounding forest. Its trees are mostly maple, beech or oak, and for most of the year, their leaves are slightly orange or red. There is a pond in the middle, attached to a tiny waterfall named Veil Falls. Veil Falls is named for its small amount of water - it looks more like a curtain of mist that reflects in the light.
Fauna & Flora
While Magnolia Woods is inherently far more magical than Crown Forest, it does still have many non-magical creatures, like deer and squirrels and birds.
Hidden among many groves and in the logs of fallen trees are many faeries or nymphs. Jackalopes and satyrs also live here, and spirits can be found frequently.
