Crescent

A tiny port town by the coast, Crescent is quiet and picturesque. Just off the coast, however, is the Asura merfolk Colony. Magic has weaved itself through Crescent for decades without the locals knowing a thing.

Demographics

Largely human, but merfolk have left their mark on the town for years. As with most towns and cities, small spirits can be found in nooks and crannies, and individuals of different species are somewhat rare.

Industry & Trade

The local harbour is a popular spot for commercial fishers, and often holds seafood markets. Crescent is known for its few popular fish and chip shops along the harbourside, and is also a popular beach spot in the warmer months. The seafront is lined with ice cream shops, beach supplies and tourist stores.
Due to its close proximity, Crescent's main import of fruit, vegetables and other food produce is Sylvain. In turn, Sylvain imports some of Crescent's seafood and fish.

Architecture

A little on the older side, Crescent's buildings are mostly terraced and European-styled. The buildings towards the seafront are more colourful.

Geography

Crescent is built right on the seaside - built up from the beach itself and up the slope leading down to it.

Natural Resources

The merfolk Colony lies directly west, and its inhabitants use warding magic for protection. To anyone above the water, the ocean appears to be empty and lacking in any produce. Due to this, fishers mostly fish to the north or south.
