Astraforia

The Astraforia. The Chaos. They make life, they destroy life, and pretty much everything you can think of. They are mortal gods playing with the fabric of realities, oblivious to the imperfections they've left in their wake.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Astraforia don't have a single set appearance. They can look like anyone and anything they want. Generally, they'll look humanoid and glowy or like a glowy cloud of energy and divinity.

Genetics and Reproduction

The Astraforia can reproduce in one of two ways. Both ways are asexual and resemble that of a turtle, in a way. They lay the "eggs", hide then somewhere, and then the kids go off on their own.
In the first method, the Astraforia grows another Astraforia using a piece of itself. Like potatoes! But they're not clones, because the growing bit absorbs stuff from the enviornment that changes and diversifies it. The bit of the Astraforia is left to grow up on its own and explore the Multiverse.
The second way takes even longer and isn't really done unless it's necessary. The second way Astraforia reproduce is by creating a shell being and placing a bit of themselves inside it to animate it. These guys are called "Revenants", and they don't fully become Astraforia until the shell body dies and some other stuff happens. It's a long process and not all the Revenants make it. Hence the reason why it's not really done.

Conservation Status

The Astraforia are technically extinct. No true Astraforia survived the last battle with the Synth. They did, however, leave remnants of themselves in other realities where the Synth couldn't touch them. Eventually these remnants will rebuild the Astraforia anew, but they will not be the same species. Not really, at any rate.
