The Former Kingdom of Schanri
The former Kingdom of Schanri was a nation on the Island of Schanri, East of the Archarian mainland. In the past, it was an adversary to The Kingdom of Archaria, who later invaded it in 7 AE, with the help of rebel barons, unstable monarchy, and the technologies that Archaria gained after The imprisonment of Gnomes. After the Archarian invasion, the Scanrian loyalists fled to the Outer Torrulds: a fortified archipelago to the North East of Schanri. The stormy seas and treacherous currents, while familiar to the resistance, were unknown to the Archarians, and so, after an embarrassing series of unsuccessful invasion attempts, they had to make do with fortifying the coastline and giving up on their attempts.
To cement their control over the island, Archaria established a city on the island, and moved their capital from Alderbridge to this town, which they named Gerrendale. Gerrendale remains the seat of the Archarian monarchy to this day.
