Silaron

Demographics

In Silaron, there are all races that would be present within the world of dungeons and dragons. However, it is predominantly gnomish and elvish. There is an extremely small population of tieflings.

Government

This is the capital of the The Ander Vale Empire. It is ruled by Empress Reghan Etalia, a gnome.
The city has a High Soverign like the three other major cities in The Ander Vale. The job of the High Soverign is that of a mayor positon. Running the town, making sure that it's functioning as it should and making changes as seen fit.

Defences

Silaron is defended by very high walls and a guard that watches it constantly. They take note of who can come in and who can't.
The Upper District also has a wall around it. Only the wealthy are allowed to go into the district, or someone who has requested an audience with Empress Reaghan.

Industry & Trade

There is a high amount of factory work in this area. This is where the industrial age is really booming.
Along with that, there are still artists, smiths, and other crafts in the middle class districts.
There are also fishermen on the river and Lac Aron.

Infrastructure

The city is bustling and full of development. It is called the city of Steam and Sparks becaus steam and electricy are the predominant form of power. Towards the upper class districsts, buildings are made of metals, and outfitted for electricity, whereas the poorer districts nad lower middle class still have wooden, simple houses that serve for function more than a style.

Guilds and Factions

The Voxi are an underground organization of Freedom Fighters who hope to one day help children escape their legal slavery from The Ander Vale government. They have a base in every major city.
G.A.S.K. has its headquarters in Silaron.
The Artist's Guild is a guild of those invovled with the arts. They have a lot of political power, much more than anyone thought an artist guild would.

History

Silaron was founded after the destruction of Old Havenwood. Those who were too scared to even reside in the forest decided to make a new life on Lac Aron. Originally it was a city state that regarded itself as it's own country, encompassing itself, Lac Aron, and Hastings.

Architecture

The modern architecture is that of Steampunk. It utilizes a lot of brass and steam engine valves. The poorer districts have a more simple dark ages look to it as the city is currently in transition into a steampunk world.

Geography

It's a city on a lake. The Tanavir River snakes around the west side of the city. Hilly farm fields and ranches sorround the area with small woods around. Though those wooded areas are slowly being chopped down by lumber companies.

Wood, food from the fields, animals from the rances.
