Responsible for endless daddy issues (and not in a good way) Dusty Byron is an unreliable father, a selfish romantic partner, and a man with a unique ability to make rafts out of doors (though accounts may be inaccurate).
Dusty's morality straddles the line between good and bad - a happily neutral disposition. He is Lestie's father, though in a self-written article he would hardly place this fact among his most important attributes. First and foremost, he is a fighter, determined to get around every problem presented to him, often unfairly. The world, according to Dusty, is a tough place, and the only person you can look out for is yourself. Besides, it can be difficult to keep track of innumerate lovers and a doubtless plethora of bastard children.
Dusty is a short man, though tall for a Dwarf, and very hardy and well built due to a life on the lam. He is a little pot-bellied, and his clothing is flea-bitten and practical.
Dusty is also the ex-lover of Kips LaRue, having met in the Kosona public hospital. As a result, Olechko, Kips' angelic child, is his, though he wouldn't claim any responsibility for that particular mistake... In the same hospital, he reunited with Lestie, and caused numerous problems in the subsequent days. Made out to be a hero by his own account, Lestie discovered that her father wasn't quite the man she expected.
A life of bad parenting, heavy drinking, piracy, brawling, and whale-fighting, came to an abrupt end in Anosok, as in an unapologetic rage, fuelled by years of distrust and disappointment, Lestie beheaded him with her axe - his body and its head lost to the aeons of space and time fuckery.
