Lindra - Bodyguard/babysitter of the child ruler
Lindra is the bodyguard to a 14-year-old girl, Krysala, who has been the Monarch of Lamara: The Nation of the Gods' Gift Peninsula since just a few days after her birth, and probably the most powerful of said bodyguards.
Lindra is quite possibly the strongest Tummen in southern, maybe all, of Lamara, and knows the girl she's tasked with guarding and raising better than anyone.
CHANGENOTE: Lindra is as of now 18 when she saves Koska, the girl that would've been sacrificed.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Muscular, but has put on some additional pounds over the muscle due to the nightmare that is being the primary Yolkadra of the young ruler... keep in mind the young ruler is still the ruler so a single petty temper tantrum in which she orders Lindra's death would actually result in Lindra being killed or becoming a criminal on the run. Also Lindra got this job when she was 15 after a childhood full of abusive training.
Also the young ruler has other Yolkadra and servants, all of whom either already had a screw loose when they started their work or whose screws have been loosened by the young ruler and/or their co-workers.
Body Features
Tonnes of scars on her back from punishments and training, and then everywhere else from real combat. Has scars around her eyes from the transplant.
Physical quirks
Born right handed but trained to be ambidextrous. Rarely lifts anything with more than one hand for any reason other than needing to do so to avoid breaking the object.
Special abilities
Tummen powers: Can channel and generate kinetic energy through her body. The actual effect of this is super strength but does not make her body less fragile (her size, physique).
Apparel & Accessories
Literally all her outfits are various suits of armour. She doesn't even own any normal clothes.
Specialized Equipment
Weapons are all so heavy that only other Tummens on a similar or higher level to her can use them, so only about 4% of Tummens can use them.

Personal history
Within Lamara, there's generally 2 types of arranged marriage.
The first is one made to solidify an alliance, mess with inheritance laws, you get the gist.
The second is a eugenic marriage. These are especially common among magic peeps, subject yourself to the pain of reading Afterlife Genetics Is Something Else and read the Magic Families section to get why in detail but in short genetics can mess with magic abilities in fun ways.
Lindra and her twin sister were born from a eugenic marriage and, from the moment they were out the womb, considered failures.
Lindra's sister, Jindra (pronounced Yindra), had the Tummen abilities and could see but what she couldn't do was use her Tummen abilities without shattering her bones.
Lindra had the Tummen abilities without the bone issue but was born blind.
Lindra's family had Lindra train to be a warrior while blind until the age of 7, at which point they were finally able to get a High Priest from Jogodi's Grand Temple - priests from there essentially being doctors - to perform an eye transplant. Yindra would lose her eyes and Lindra would gain a functional new pair.
Fun fact: No anesthetic. Lindra's family would've had to pay twice as much for anesthetic and were unwilling to pay so much more for something they regarded as unnecessary.
This surgery was done with alcohol as a painkiller, which it wasn't actually any good at for Lindra or Jindra, causing Jindra to develop an alcohol addiction and Lindra to be so repulsed by alcohol that just looking at it makes her wanna vomit.
Lindra, after getting used to the mindfuck that is being born blind and then being able to see, continued being trained to be a warrior. This included mental conditioning, also known as "kill the bunny rabbit or no food for 3 days" or "kill the literally human slave child or be brutally beaten", sometimes also "you didn't do anything wrong, it's just that we're torturing you just to make you tougher".
The final straw came when she was 14 and her family attempted to get her to perform Magic Cannibalism on her sister - also covered in Afterlife Genetics Is Something Else - and her response was to beat some people up and leave.
She travelled around, getting money by performing odd jobs with her abilities, until she was informed by a noble family they wanted to hire her as a Yolkadra.
Yolkadra are like babysitters, bodyguards and servants all in one.
She was surprised to find that the one she'd be serving was a 13-year-old girl, only 2 years younger than her, who was a bastard.
No, literally, this girl was born out of wedlock but was legitimized and taken in out of living with her mother, step-father and younger half-siblings on a farm by the noble family just a month earlier.
Why would the noble family that didn't give a shit for 13 years suddenly give a shit? Why; it was because they were selected to cough up one of their kids to be used as a human sacrifice, and legitimizing this girl allowed them to offer her up instead.
And so Lindra guarded this girl, preventing a suicide attempt by the girl and then a kidnapping attempt by goons hired by another noble family trying to make sure one of the legitimate kids got sacrificed cos of some inheritance law fuckery, for 2 months.
When the day came, our lovely illegitimate girl was thrown in a pit with a monster to be eaten.
Lindra jumped into the pit with a mace and killed the monster... I should clarify that beating this monster was done with extreme difficulty and still insanely impressive.
The monster was considered the sacrifice that year.
Lindra was immediately recruited by the country's ruler, a woman with the parasitic condition called pregnancy, to be the Yolkadra of her baby once it was born. Lindra accepted under the condition that the illegitimate child, who was suddenly disowned again and whose parents were threatening to sell her into slavery if she came back, also be the royal baby's Yolkadra. This condition was accepted.
The ruler died soon after giving birth to the new one. Lindra and the ruler's multiple other Yolkadra, as well as Krysala's father's side of the family as she's living with them, have effectively raised the young ruler.
Lindra is now 29, having protected the young ruler all 14 years of their life. She's also an absolute beast in combat.

Heterosexual. She has experimented and confirmed that she is heterosexual. Even a woman with Lover's Eyes ( Afterlife Genetics Is Something Else ) couldn't be the exception and if anyone's gonna be the exception it's someone with Lover's Eyes.

Savvies & Ineptitudes
Good at battle tactics and fighting but lacks other essential skills like wilderness survival, tracking, navigation and pretty much anything else which isn't happening during the actual face-off between two armies.
On the raising the ruler side of things, she's similarly under-equipped, having left home without knowledge of any of the things that were handled by slaves and servants like cooking, cleaning, or anything of the sort. She was also pretty emotionally under-equipped to essentially be tasked with raising a child, leaving much of that to the other Yolkadra while she regularly thwarted kidnappers and the like, causing her to be more like an older sister to the young ruler than a mother.
