Faetalatala (Fae Town)

It is well known the Fae are never in one place for any extended period. They hop about the mountain tops throwing up their crazy shacks and sometimes taking them down when the town moves on. Sometimes.   This settlement was called Faetalatala and it was the home of the fiddly Fae King and his fiddly court. Well, his current court anyway.   Even though the Fae move to new mountaintops with embarrassing frequency they always return. Journeyman Tuftor attempted to study their travel for five years before dying of exposure on the mountaintops of Alandalan. He says there are several mountaintops frequently settled by the Fae. Loaftop is one, probably because of the long flat top and the Fae Vineyard down the northern cliff.   There have begun to be fixed features built into that mountaintop as Faetalatala is resettled on a yearly basis for the Fae to gather their grapes. Then after the gathering, pressing and barrelling of the Fae Wine they throw a giant Sloshing, as they call it, and joyfully smash half the barrels. Then they move on to another, cleaner, mountaintop. They leave half-circles of stone behind that were the wind side of their huts. The rest was just propped stick walls and flapping canvas roofs.   The Fae use no wattle and daub to strengthen these stick walls. They do not care if the canvas flaps in the wind. They will move on shortly and this was all they needed to build for a short rest.

Government

The Fae King decides the direction the Fae Court travel and who they're friends with today.   The First Gov decides who shall travel (Wander) with them to a new place and commands the Fae army.   The Second Gov decides who gets to carry a barrel of Fae Wine and manages the trade with the other races.   The Third Gov decides the turn of their Cant (Fae Yodelling) and elects a High Cantor for that season.

Tourism

You may visit on their harvest days but be sure they know you're friendly. If startled, the entire Fae settlement will Wander off to who-knows-where. In a blink of an eye they can be several mountaintops away. Bring something shiny.
