WorldEmber Pledge 2021

Greetings, worldbuilders! This year has already been my 'Year of Firsts', as far as worldbuilding is concerned, and soon I will be adding yet another 'first' to the list. Soon , I will take part my first ever WorldEmber, where I will be racing to complete 10,000 words worth of writing. And no, I am not using this as an excuse to put of doing anything this November. By the new year, I will hope to be able to say that this hobby of mine eill have benn 10000 word greater than when I started, most of which will probably go to cleaning up my previous messes from other challenges.

Goals

From what I gather, it makes sense to set some expectations on what I will be doing for this challenge. My goals will be divided into Word and Article Goals

Word Goals

Complete at least 10,000 word worth of writing, by the end of December. I'm pretty sure even this will be a challenge, what with the various things I have to do over the holidays, but it should be achievable.

Article Goals

The words themselves will be put towards improving and finishing up my long list of draft articles (so long, that I had to delete one just to write this Pledge!), and only after that would I even attempt adding to the backlog. Still, 10,000 words should be more than enough to fill up what is incomplete.

Now, with all that said, I now have to absorb the fact that this is what I set out todo, and get myself ready to do it.
