Thaloria
Overview
Thaloria is an ancient continent filled with powerful kingdoms, mystical forests, towering mountains, and deep, uncharted swamps. Its varied landscapes are steeped in history, where old alliances and rivalries have shaped generations. The northern mountain ranges trail down the eastern side, giving way to verdant plains and dense forests. To the east, the archipelago of Elyndor stands as a beacon of magic and mystery, guarded by the enigmatic Calari elves. Thaloria’s history is deeply intertwined with the influence of its 13 original gods, whose presence continues to shape the world from various divine planes. Chief among these is Orith, a plane of light and celestial power where most benevolent gods reside. However, not all gods share this realm; Morweneth, the goddess of nightmares and decay, dwells in her own dark plane, Morrith, from which her influence seeps into the world. The gods’ conflicting ideals and power struggles have left lasting marks on Thaloria, from the luminous blessings of Elthara, the goddess of light and knowledge, to the shadowy influence of Morweneth. Despite centuries of peace in some areas, deep-seated tensions persist, especially among the elves and other long-lived races who remember past wars vividly. Thaloria is a place where old grudges and new ambitions collide, inviting adventurers to uncover forgotten secrets, navigate political intrigues, and shape their own destinies in a land both beautiful and perilous.Remove these ads.
