Thaloria

Thaloria is a vast and ancient continent, home to powerful kingdoms whose histories are shaped by centuries of conflict, diplomacy, and rivalry. Tall mountains dominate the north, trailing down the right side of the continent, while great forests, sprawling plains, and deep swamps define the varied landscapes. Though war no longer ravages the land openly, tensions between old enemies simmer beneath the surface. Among the most notable is the centuries-long cold war between the wood elves and high elves, whose conflict stretches back nearly 3,000 years.   The influence of the gods is woven into the fabric of everyday life. Rhalindor, the god of creation, is revered for crafting the very weave of reality, while Elthara, the goddess of light and knowledge, inspires her followers to seek enlightenment through the pursuit of wisdom and understanding. In contrast, Morweneth, goddess of shadows and nightmares, casts a dark influence over the world, her presence felt in places like the Everblight, a place of darkness that embodies fear and despair. These are just a few of the many gods that shape the beliefs and practices of the people of Thaloria, each deity contributing to the rich tapestry of culture and spirituality that permeates the land.   To the east, beyond the mainland, lies the archipelago of Elyndor, a region steeped in mystery and lore. It is a place where ancient secrets are hidden, and even the most powerful kingdoms of Thaloria view it with a mix of intrigue and caution. Despite the years of uneasy peace, shadows loom over Elyndor, drawing the eyes of those who seek power or knowledge in a world shaped by old grudges and new ambitions.
