Elijah Kune
Master Elijah Kune
A member of the excommunicated Emethan Apostles. He, like several others, publically confronted and opposed the High Priest's creation of "replacement editions" of the Holy Scrolls. As a result of his actions, he was fired from his position at the School of Theological Studies and excommunicated from the Order completely.
Considered by many to be very opinionated, he had few friends at the High Temple and was noted to be something of a solitary man.

Personal history
Elijah served in the Emethan Order as a teacher in the School of Theological Studies. During his last few years there, He encountered one student that particularly caught his attention. The young girl, Néa Nassah, seemed to be quite intelligent. Elijah formed a fatherly relationship with the girl and mentored her for the remainder of his time with the Order.
In the past, Kune had had disagreements with the High Priest theologically. Despite this, he continued to respect the High Priest's position. However, things changed for the worse, when the High Priest asked Kune to use the new editions of the Holy Scrolls. These editions ommitted several passages and altered the meanings and messages of others. Kune steadfastly refused, condemning the High Priest's decisions. Kune was then fired and excommunicated along with any other teachers that condemned the new editions.
In the following months, Kune and his colleagues worked to prevent the spread of the heretical scrolls by attempting to form an inquisition panel, publically condemning the new teachings, and rescuing the original scrolls from being burned. All but the last attempts failed, and eventually, Kune was designated a heretic by the Order, forcing him to flee to the isle of Samar.
Following this incident, Kune turned his attention towards spreading Emeth's light among the Samarans, who were infamous for their open practice of Chémah.
