Once the heart of the Senterren Kingdom, the city of Senterra is now the capital of the largest Empire in the world. It is the home of scientific and technological revolution, the home of the greatest plays, art and music, the home of the best soldiers in the world - it is the heart of the Empire.

Government

Senterra is the heart of the Senterren Empire. As a result, both the capital city and the empire as a whole are governed from Antonius Palace. Whilst the Emperor resides within the city and has a significant degree of influence, the day to day operations of the capital are run by the Governor who is appointed by the Emperor.

Defences

The capital of the Empire is also the nexus of its military. As a result, there is a significant legionnaire presence within the city alongside walls, gates and other devices perfect for repelling sieges.

History

The city of Senterra was founded by Franceso Senterra to be the capital city of a new Kingdom. When the Kingdom of Alba dissolved into civil war, Francesco led his soldiers and their families to a spot by the river. They built a town that grew to become a major city state, the Kingdom of Senterra.
Over time, as the Kingdom grew in prosperity and wealth, the capital evolved with it - transforming from a small town into a large city. Now, as the Kingdom of Senterra grew to become the Senterren Empire, the capital has become a trade hub and the site of all technological revolutions.
The city of Senterra has survived a lot, numerous sieges and sackings have occurred but the city has always emerged on the other side - many believe the city will endure long into the future.
