Limesummit

Limesummit is a gnomish city near the Poandun Tunnels entrance. The large city is ruled by the wealthy, with those who innovate the most and make the most capital being the wealthiest.    Due to its proximity to the surface, Limesummit is attacked every once in a while by the Dragonarmies of Poandunturth, the Great White of the North. Limesummit's defenses mostly rely on illusions, traps, and mazes, with a relatively untrained militia and a knightly order dedicated to the gnomish god Gaerdal Ironhand should those fail.

History

Said to be founded by Garl Glittergold himself as a safe-haven for his people just below the surface, Limesummit sits atop one of the world's largest limestone deposits.
