A Meeting of Chance or Destiny
    Life, Relationship change

Sparrow, Marella, and Fal got attacked by cultists stealing diamonds from Jed’s Fine Cut Gems. Xanfire, Nazgorath, and Quatan all came to the aid of the three. As a party you all killed one cultist, two killed themselves rather than being kept alive, and two fled. Rowan, the Captain of the Guard, believed your story but demanded that you stay in town. The party ate and drank on a few occasions, later heard town gossip from the baker, and made their way to Jed’s. There you found a Ring of Water Walking, began to notice a lot of the townspeople coughing, and found muddy faint footprints leading to a well in town.

    Mysteries Underneath
    Civil action

Nazgorath tested the properties of the well water, while Sparrow and Fal went to find someone to alert. You did happen upon a spooked farmer and an unprepared guard, who said they would get Rowan. After this, you all made your way into the well, finding traces of foot traffic, and followed these tunnels. You found some bones and fur, investigating them you discovered a few items, and got jumped by rats. You managed to kill the diseased one, and befriend the other. They were not the only opponents in the tunnels, further in, a few of you noticed fire light and talking. The cultists were dumping vials in the well and burning parchment. The fight that ensued was a long one, and taxing for a lot of the party members. With the clang of her armor Rowan, the captain of the guard, joined you as an ally, finally capturing one of the thugs. In the wake of battle, some found more diamonds, poison vials, and symbols, weird talks of an entity that would deliver, and deeds that had been done for them.

    Miscellaneous

One by one you made your way out of the well, taking with you the rat and later cremating him. You found yourselves a new companion, Halo, an elven individual, and finally went to meet Rowan and the captive at the jailhouse. Through a series of questions a light was shone on the business of these cultists, but many answers left you just as confused. After high tensions in the party, you split and stayed elsewhere for the night. Morning came, and everyone gathered back at the jailhouse to find that Sith, the captive, was gone with very little evidence left behind. Suspicions were thrown with Rowan, and she told you to head on your way with two letters. One saying of your deeds, and the other a love letter. Your first day of travel was uneventful until nightfall, when Nazgorath received a strange dream.

You all continued to Althorp through your third and fourth day of travel. The party tried and succeeded in befriending some hungry rabbits, but two of the three of them skittered off at night. The party stayed in a found campsite, and later upon reaching Althorp was jumped by wolves. Some fought and others ran, but eventually the party made it to Althorp. You met Yorkas, a baker, who explained they sent someone to request guards from Innswood, and then the wolves had been circling the town off and on. Then the party heard a scream coming from Yorkas’ wife, who beside herself exclaimed their child was taken by a wolf man? Man wolf? Half the party chased after the wolves, who retreated, and the other half of the party was led by Yorkas to Orlynn’s and Bades’s. An herbalist’s and ill fighter’s home to get supplies. Yorkas with his furniture armor and clumsiness seems anxious to leave after the wolves, but Halo and Marella can no longer see them.

    Getting Along
    Life, Relationship change

Fal and Sparrow, exhausted, slow down and finally reconvene with the rest of the party along with Yorkas. Quatan continues with the wolves, until his wild shape ends and he is surrounded by two of the wolves. He tries to play nice with them, but the dire wolf takes that as a sign to play with his food. Finally the whole party reunites with a battle against the wolves, dangerously turned to a battle within the party. Some want the wolf hurt and others don’t, be Fal is slain by Nazgorath. As Fal lays there, their appearance fades to reveal that of a different one. The dire wolf retreats in an entirely new direction, and the fight has turned verbal. Pushing on, following still the wolf tracks, the party enters a dangerous bog/swamp. Two individuals sink into the bog before being helped out, and begin to possibly repair party relations, they also convince the “lover not fighter” baker, Yorkas, to return home. Bedding down for the night in a beautiful bioluminescent garden of fungi, and with an uneasy feeling of being watched, Marella decodes the mysterious message written in their tome.

    Hag's Hut
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

You awaked on a mound in the bog, no longer surrounded by a glow of fungi, Sparrow foraged successfully for mushrooms, and you all continued inward. Initially three of you noticed an individual behind a tree. Fal, being the face of the party in that moment, talked to Kodran, a cowardly Stonebridge farmer that was once cursed with lycanthropy. He wasn’t truthful at first, and seemed a bit selfish. Many talks were had as to whether or not to kill him, but he led you to these “weird ladies”, and was sent in the wrong direction but promised to help Althorp all he could. In your time with him, he did say he met a green and a blue woman and the alpha made an agreement with them. All of Althorp for him, and a single infant for them. Marella cast detect magic on Kodran and found that the women also followed through on curing him. The bog never stopped giving you an uneasy feeling with bog bodies, and a feeling of being watched. Coming upon a house, Fal approached and asked for the child, and then combat began. The green woman turned out to be a hideous green hag, and the blue woman turned out to be a terrific ugly sea hag. Both were slayed and fell into the bog.

    Slow Developements
    Discovery, Scientific

You all searched through the hags’ house finding many treasures, many horrific things, and a child. Leaving with the house on fire, you continued to Althorp. Two of the party found mushrooms, and three or four of you had curious talks about romance. You did not find Yorkas and Ardane in their house, and maybe worried they were in danger, Fal successfully snuck in and ended up doing kind and stealthy business. The rest of you went to Orlynn’s and Bade’s and returned the child. There were some tears, many heartfelt talks between quite a few people, Orlynn served stew and her butterfly collection, and Bade followed up on his curious info of Xanfire’s abilities. Xanfire and Bade sparred, him in his astral butterfly self, and encouraged Xanfire to find his, which in a moment of pause, Xanfire did. You all rested the night, and left Althorp with parting gifts to both couples, and two members had a well needed conversation. Althorp seemed like a lifetime, opening up both physical and emotional wounds on a few people, and enlightening a few about possible connections of cultists and hags. You continued to Stonebridge quietly on the first day, and on the second as afternoon began to draw down, you all saw a giant stone figure tucked between the hills a little to the right and off the path.

    A Moment of Respite
    Miscellaneous

It was discovered that the statue was a depiction of the Mistress of the Passing. Her “halo” depicted guiding those through life and death, and by placing your hands in theirs and facing them towards the arch, that a secret door opened up. It led to a cozy interior that allows respite and safety for travelers. Some party members got drunk, and had heartfelt conversations, and others enjoyed their night sober. Quatan had a strange dream, but the night went smoothly, and you all continued to Stonebridge. Arriving in the early morning, you were greeted by a plethora of scents, sounds, sights, and people. You met a colorful goblin named Leech, fighting with a Crownsguard about entering the city with his spices. Sparrow tried their hand at flirting with the other Crownsguard, possibly landing a date. Entering the city at different times, the party heard of local and distant news from the town crier. You found Enchantments and Baubles, a magic shop, and delivered the love letter. Dune acted intimidating at first, but dropped the act to ask a series of questions, one being what to write back. She informed the party that most of her items won’t be in stock until about a day or two, when everyone returns home from the front. You all then left, and began to navigate your way through the Trifair.

    The Weight of the Forgotten
    Life, Career

The party first went to deliver the second letter to the Lawmaster. He was a dragonborn individual named Birdsley, who asked some questions, one being what you call yourselves, and then paid you. From there the party went to the Library, and researched from both the public and private sections, anything from monks, dreams, to plants and elementals. The party then split. Marella and Fal went to investigate more on the elemental sightings, found a job listing, and Marella summoned a small friend, a seahorse. Sparrow, Quatan, and Xanfire, found Leech once again, but inside the city, chatted, hugged, and Leech left for some business. Xanfire, with them, then headed to the barracks to fight a guard, who wasn’t the strongest but put up a fair and fun fight. You all then met when Fal was buying heavy winter clothes, and informed you all that they made a decision for the party, and wanted to head up north. Later, you all bedded down at the Sundown Super Inn in four rooms, getting some rest before the much talked about festival.

    New Arrivals
    Life, Relationship change

You all awoke in the Sundown Super Inn and headed to the festival in the center of the Trifair. There were countless activities, decorations, and a great celebration from the denizens. A few of you went to an apothecary and met a new human store owner, Thales Yordam. He inquired about your dealings up north, and some party members were welcoming to him, and others were abrasive towards him. Nazgorath tried his hand at gambling in a trade for information, Qutan found and danced with Leech, and Sparrow found and hung out with Fitz. Fal and Marella then had a conversation full of hostility, and a few had their cards read. Midway through the festival, the troops, whom this festival was in honor for, returned home along with General Thoosa. Most of you reconvened at the center of the festival, mid afternoon, one of you with a saddened heart.

    All Wrapped Up
    Life, Organisation Association

Still with the festival progressing, Xanfire and Quatan left the rest of the party to search for Leech. Finding and returning to the residence they first found him near, they entered a seedy bar called the Half Wall Inn. Only the bartender was in, and he hardly gave the two any attention, but did respond hostiley when asked about the whereabouts of Leech. However, once shown the coin given to Quatan, the two were led to a back room with a trap door. They decided to knock and call for Leech rather than enter, and indeed Leech stepped through. All three had a conversation in the bar area, and Leech gave serious warning of a criminal organisation called the Order of the Unchained, but they didn’t learn much of it. The two then returned to the rest of the party still hanging around the festival waiting for fireworks. Thales talked to a few soldiers and wasn’t freely given many details except appraisals of General Thoosa. Once fireworks hit, Quatan and Leech had a small date, and then the party departed from Thales and returned to the Sundown Supper Inn. In his room alone, Halo came upon a handwritten note saying “Go” and then was attacked by an animated rug. Thankfully he had the chance to alert the others, and the rug was soon defeated to shreds. The next morning, Sparrow and Xanfire got tattoos, one of a sword and book and the other of a trident. Halo and Fal walked through the city with sweets and drinks, Halo playing some tunes still overcoming the events of the previous night. The party then inquired and received rations for the journey, and Sparrow commissioned an item from the blacksmith.
