Appointer

There is a certain dignity about being an appointer that can't be said for any other job within Centralis' borders. Because of them we have been able to keep malpractice and death's related to business stealing schemers at an all time low. Though there ware still loopholes within the system that can be taken advantage of, the fact that Appointers are educated in both combat and studies regarding the advanced legal systems of Centralis should cover most of those that have attained the job.   An Appointer is the lifeblood of Centralis, if not the only job on the market that keeps the city from completely falling apart.

History

During the Guild Wars, when the tribes had seperated into guilds, trades, and proffessions, possessions and business of the dead were not being applied properly to the heir and people who weren't supposed to take over the business/busniess' of the deceased were taking them. Seeing the rampant Business malpractice in which resulted in the continual strain of mysterious deaths across guild vendors both rich and poor, the Law Keepers dedicated a portion of their offices into the Death Write wing. At first it seemed to stem the flow of malpractice and more people began to rely heavier on the Death writes. As is human nature, the Law Keepers were soon being condemned to rewriting, or obscuring death write certificates or being blackmailed. In order to combat this the Death Write office began implementing more and more rules and regulations in consideration to the Death Write and Appointers were born and bred from the program. Where they are to both write the Death Write and reciept, using magical sources in order to prevent tampering as well as follow up on any mischeif that seems to have taken place during their appointment.   A new practice was born as well within Centralis and the guilds wheras, if a person does not or is not able to have an Appoointer upon the time of death and has not conscripted a Death Write, a lottery for ownership of all of that persons belongings would then take place, so that anyone may be able to grab power from the previously owned business/business' of the aformentioned deceased.   Because of this tampering with Death Writes came to an all time low and Appointers became well respected within the Centralis community.
