Amber Rest
A large, dense forest of multicolored dying trees. Although the trees appear to be dying and have the colors of autumn, they never die, and the forest forever retains its warm color. Although the color is warm, it is a wood of haunted and spooky creatures and stories.
Description
The forest was colossal, radiant, and ancient. Its canopy was claimed by holly, cottonwood, and sycamore, who allowed adequate light to pass down for a range of ferns to make use of the flat, fertile grounds below. The trees and vegetation were generally dry, and a range of flowers, which were unique to this region, protruded from the otherwise orange terrain. A variety of sounds, most belonged to varmint, echoed in the air, and were out of sync with the sounds of a fight over dominance between larger animals. On top of all of this, the retained an ethereal and haunted feel, as if it seemed to stretch forever or trap you in circles of trees. Occasionally, a foreign and benign sound can be heard, always far off and echoed.
