Southwall Range

The impassable mountain range that runs from the east coast to the west coast, across the southern end of the Imperial Mesa. The Southwall Range is so wide and the mountains so steep that no path can be carved, not to mention that any attempt to carve such a path is usually threatened by the deadly cold. Any groups who have ventured to find a way through have either come back defeated, or not come back at all.
There are also rumours of a primitive, tribal population who live in the frigid cold of the Southwall Range. There have been no confirmed sightings, however a mountaineer occasionally returns from the Range with a story about finding a fellow mountaineer, stripped of his flesh and impaled on a pike.
