Terra Mysterium

This world revolves around exploration and adventure!

We begin such adventures in the coastal city of Fogwatch; the "Edge of the World" as some call it. Fogwatch is the northern-most settlement in all of the known world, lining the shore of the Sea of Mist. Beyond the Mist is the New World; islands and continents and treasures never seen before by man. The draw of exploration brings many a captain and crewman to Fogwatch, where they gather the last of their resources before heading out into the New World.
Their lust for unspoiled lands is often short-lived; with a new world comes new dangers, waiting to spell the end for a foolhardy privateer. Some reports indicate never-before-seen natural phenomenon, while yet more describe unique plants and foods. Many new species of creatures have been discovered, and most of them are carnivorous. Many captains are deterred by this, but many more are spurred forward by the thought of what such monsters may be guarding.

The New World is such an enigmatic place that it has been officially named Terra Mysterium; the land of mystery.
