Knighted Court Wizard Eudico Edison Poulson (a.k.a. The Library's Creator)
Once a man of the highest standing, entering legend as the first ever Knighted Court Wizard, Eudico was to leave it all behind for a quieter life. Earning many a title during his years as a knight, Eudico spent his younger years as a prolific Battle Mage for the Order of the Light. As he grew older, and his body aged, he studied the curiosities of the world, travelling with his father whenever he could. He had a hunger for knowledge that no mere library could satiate, spending decades searching the edges of the world for strange and peculiar. Soon he began collecting these curiosities, storing them in a demiplane he had created in his younger years as a place of solace.
As his father withered away Eudico began putting together all they had collected through their journeys with the goal of keeping them from the wrong hands. Throughout the years, the two became involved in many an important event, often playing the integral roles in its success. As such, powerful and dangerous items were entrusted to their care, highlighting the need for a sanctum of knowledge to protect such items from misuse.
This was the beginning of the Edifice of Knowledge, the name given to the Library by Eudico himself. Eudico sought out creatures from all the realms to assist him in its creation, having lost his father some years earlier it was a task he could not complete alone. Along one of these adventures Eudico met Samson, with the two seeing kindred spirits in each other. The other co-contributors to its final construction never remaining once their job was completed, and never seeing more than they needed to. Samson however, became Eudico's shadow, learning all there was to know about this library.
Having walked among the gods, fought beside both angel and devil and even having the honour of bedding an Archfey Queen, it was in beautiful irony that Eudico passed away peacefully in his sleep. His body remaining frozen in time in one of the many rooms of the Edifice of Knowledge
