Tobias Shortbeard

The Chief Councillor of Spineridge is full of energy and ideas, although not always good ones. Popular with people who don’t know him personally, he successfully lobbied the other council members to make him Chief Councillor, although since the vote was secret, they all assumed their vote would not matter and someone else would be chosen. Tobias thus achieved his lifelong dream, although he has not done much as Chief Councillor.
While the problems with Sutheria were not under his watch, the decision to reach out to Darkdwell was, and the other councillors hold him accountable for the war. Tobias is a few years away from his review.
Tobias isn’t evil, but he is careless and a little selfish. He is meticulous about his appearance, hence his name ‘Shortbeard’, as he wears it close to his face.
