The Cursed Blade

The Cursed Blade is the only weapon capable of killing the vampire lord Devesta. Written in his old diary, Devesta mentions this dagger was cursed because with it he killed his wolf-infected wife. Even though it was required by law, he refused to kill Hydron and had the tutors and servants raise the hybrid. Realizing that this dagger would be imperitive for the wolves, he ordered that the dagger be destroyed. However, the servant responsible for destroying it quickly discovered that the weapon was protected by a powerful dark spell. He decided to travel to the far North and hide the dagger where no one would every find it.

Visker and his pack set out on a long journey to find this dagger and end Devesta's life before he brings another world dominion. Few clues are offered to find this blade, but Lupo may have some answers. The journey they traveled was full of dangers none of them had every imagined. The servant hid the dagger well.

The hilt is a winding serpent laced with silver which glows red hot if a wolf tries to handle the weapon. The glow colors the snake in intricate designs as if the snake were about to breathe fire onto the blade. Even if a wolf wore protective gloves, the heat of the silver would overcome it thanks to the magic coursing through its metal.

A brief description of the blade. The hilt is a serpent winding would until the head reaches the base of the blade. Embedded in the serpent's head are two rubies for eyes and a ruby forked tongue licking the blade. The blade itself is black, seered by the dark magic of the spell. Engraved on the black blade in silver lines is fire which glows bright in the presence of a wolf. The entire dagger's material is pure silver despite the eerie blackness of the blade. Devesta made sure no wolf could ever handle the cursed blade.
