Dro'Desh
Many of the Tabaxi live in Dro'Desh, venturing into the forest outside their city to hunt for game amidst the trees. The majority of the city isn't visible from the road; a network of rope-and-wood bridges links huts carved into the trees or sitting in the branches. There are no easy paths from the ground to the top, providing the Tabaxi with a measure of security. Traveler's Respite, inns and huts to accommodate travelers, lies on the ground or one story up in the trees, accessible by spiral staircases. Traveler's Respite includes an open-air market area with wooden stalls, providing space for Tabaxi merchants to trade with outsiders. A rope pulley system in the heart of the market allows the Tabaxi to move supplies up to the main level of the city. As outsiders traveling through the forest is an infrequent occurrence, the Tabaxi have The Canopy Market, another larger market in the trees above the main market for regular business.
Forest's Heart is the seat of power, lying in and around the largest tree, spanning 500 feet across. The interior houses the counsel chambers, but a large wooden terrace extending 300 feet past the trunk in all directions, supports a terrace, a magical fountain, and a garden.
Residents live all throughout the treetops; the city has no residential district.
A set of platforms spread over a cluster of large trees is home to the Mender's Garden, a carefully-cultivated home to some of the rarest herbs and plants used for alchemy, found only rarely among the trees below. Most of the city's alchemists and healers have homes or workshops near the garden, providing them with easy access to some of the components they need.
