The Therapeutic Sodality is an organization of doctors, alchemists, and scholars whose primary purpose is to research, combat and prevent the Auromorbus plague from spreading, by any means necessary.
The few healers who survived the Collapse a millennium ago formed an order that would span across national and cultural borders, with the purpose of averting another such devastation and attempt to aid those they could. Originally known as the Ordo Cura the organisation has since adopted many names in different nations and regions.
Most of the empire's public hospitals, orphanages and soup kitchens are run by the Treatment Order.

The Medicators

The sight of a Medicator, or as many call them "plague doctors" or "crows" by some, can instil both fear and relief in the common man for they are just as infamous for their merciless cleansing of suspected plague victims as they are known for their kind treatment of the sick, poor and elderly. A single Medicator can cure an entire neighbourhood of sickness but if the smallest trace of the plague is detected they will turn from saviours to executioner.
