Auromorbus

Auromorbus, the great plague, the foreign pestilence, and known by many other names, is the most feared disease in the known world. It brought the Pheonian Empire into ruin, nearly wiped out the human and elven races, and is widely believed it even killed the Imperial Gods.

Stages

Stage 1, Day 1:

Patients develop sudden onset of fever, headache, chills, and weakness and one or more swollen, tender and painful lymph nodes.    Procedure: At this stage the patient is contagious only by physical contact, immediate termination of the patient and suspected infected as well as lockdown of the street and burning of the housing building is required.

Stage 2, Day 3:

Patients will experience a runny nose, uncontrollable bowel movements, crying and overactive salivary glands and the lymph nodes will burst open, spewing pus up to a distance of 2 meters.   Procedure: At this stage the patient is highly contagious via contact of bodily fluids and physical contact. immediate termination of the patient and people within the same building as well as lockdown of the street and burning of the housing building is required.

Stage 3, Day 6:

Skin and flesh tissue will begin to mutate into living sludge and start to fall off the patient. The patient will at this point (if they have not already done so) seek out others with a similar stage of infection and congregate with close physical contact. Over the next few days, these patients will fuse together and form into a single, larger organism.    Procedure: At this stage, the street and surrounding buildings must be terminated with fire, preferably with the aid of Royal Army Mages or firebombings by bomber airplanes.

Stage 4, Day 10:

The patients are clinically brain dead, their brains having dissolved into sludge alongside the rest of their organs and tissue. The new organism called "Utero Morbus" will have fully formed and through unknown means begin to transform up to 1km of its surroundings in a radius into an unnatural state veiled in smog. Abyssal creatures will shortly thereafter begin to appear within the area.    Procedure: At this stage, the contingency of the plague is low, limited to physical contact with the Utero Morbus itself. Destruction of the Utero Morbus is required.
