The Governmental Heart of Marquadesh, where the council discusses and makes rulings. Here traders and merchants can petition for trade deals and arrangements.

Purpose / Function

The Merchant's Council of Marquadesh gather here to decide on things, make rulings and arrange business. It is also where lesser merchant's can go to petition for trade arrangements. The bookkeepers work from here, and there is an open market for the sale of assets and trading contracts.

Architecture

A large marble building that sits upon a hill overlooking the docks. It's architecture is vaguely reminiscent of a temple, with large steps leading up to the main entrance that is guarded by pillars. Inside, the grand foyer greets visitors with rows of marble pillars and statues dotting the sides. At the end, a reception desk accommodates interested parties, and further inside the actual offices of the council members.
