Etherium

Mined from the Etherheart's veins, Etherium is a crystaline mineral that can absorb Etherlight.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Etherium is crystalline in structure, and comes in many different colors, all in a light tint. Though the biomes affect the color of Etherium obtained there, scholars are still unsure whether it's properties change in relation to it. Etherium looks like long crystal shards, with geometric shapes and latices that form naturally.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The main property of Etherium is it's ability to absorb and store Etherlight from the Etherstorms. For this reason, the art of Ethercraft has spawned from it. Etherium holding Etherlight can be used to power all manner of mechanisms and contraptions, but at its most basic form it emits light.

Geology & Geography

Etherium is found in veins spawning from the Etherheart. It is also common to find veins of it in close proximity to Ethernodes found around the world.

Origin & Source

Etherium originates from the Etherheart

Life & Expiration

Though Etherlight will slowly evaporate from the crystals, the Etherium itself never deteriorates as far as scholars know.
