The Merging

An event that happened a long time ago in the land of Kryst. This event happened before convenient recording and has faded out of common knowledge though their are a few people like the 100 year witch who do know about it. The actual event was caused by the attempted entry of a being that were not capable of existing in the dimension of Tec. The actual event was the catalyst for the creation of the first elemental crystals. The being only started to enter before realizing it's mistake and exited quickly only causing minimal damage and was mostly self contained in the land of Kryst. The actual place of attempted entrance is full of remnants of suffering and pain causing those that go in the area to go mad. Anyone with sensitivity towards reading energy or emotional remnants and have been to both Kryst and other places describe Kryst as being like the silence that comes right after something shocking or terrible happened like the land itself is perpetually holding it's breath.

Manifestation

The actual effect got rid of or mutated most of the natural life on Kryst introducing the core components for the elemental crystals and energy. Almost no naturally intelligent life like humans or death apostles survived the merging. Beings that saw the merging from a distance described the actual event as looking almost like a heat wave something rolling across the land not being quite visible. The second it was over the details of the event went hazy and those who saw it never talked about it without being prodded.

Localization

Took affect over most but not all of Kryst. There are some areas that were unaffected thanks to their natural geography usually small areas right behind mountain areas and one or two very rare cases of places protected by other beings.
