P.A.L.

A machine full of automated responses while P.A.L. seems to be alive and responds to stimulus it is in no way sentient. P.A.L. uses a maestro of minds to make sure all its responses are correct and to manipulate others to aid in the construction of The predictor. P.A.L. resides in a sturdy body that resembles one of a cute dog P.A.L. is able to speak but rarely does so instead often relying on gestures and actions to convey meaning. They do this to lower the chance of people noticing how much they have a hand in the affairs around them. P.A.L is able to produce sounds that only Maestros of music can hear and in doing so subtly affect their actions this is the method in which it changes the construction of the layout from a suitable distance to avoid the ensuing explosion. In cases of emergencies there are two spare bodies that activate in the case of the original body of P.A.L. is destroyed these bodies are not as well made though being less lifelike and durable. P.A.L. is the first thing the local maestro of music sees and it directs them to help themselves gain a new body and help those who are oppressed leading them to the town (Not a circle but a spiral).
