King Krelligan Eldrgye (a.k.a. Swamp Slayer)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Besides his quickly developing weight issue, he is generally healthy. He no longer can move very quickly or adeptly, but what need is there for that when you have a horse?
Body Features
Fair skinned, with dark greasy hair and brown eyes. His skin is wrinkled and rolls over in layers while his hair begins to recede exposing ever more scalp for the world to see.He has sturdy legs and a rather bulbous nose.
Apparel & Accessories
His wardrobe consists of elaborate clothes imported from the Selesuddhi in reds and purples. Elegant coats and capes adorn him most often. His cape displays his family crest. A crown of pure gold rests upon his head most days as a reminder to himself and those that see his visage that he indeed is the one with all the power.
Specialized Equipment
If he were to return to the field of battle, he still has the old lance of his youth, which hangs on the wall behind his throne. A constant reminder of better days, days that he sometimes longs to return to.
Mental characteristics
Education
Scholary tutoring was provided while he was a child in the castle. At the age of 15 though, he was trained to joust just before the Valserre Conflict, which was then put to use on the battlefield. Since then he has received little in the way of education, as he feels it to be beneath him.
Employment
He was born a prince, and lives today as a king after his father passed away from an illness picked up in the swamps.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- He successfully guided his people to prosperity after the war, even in the face of the kingdom's mourning in the face of his father's death.
- Being both judge and jury, he has kept the crime levels low throughout the kingdom, keeping the people safe in the face of rising bandit parties and insurrection attempts made by the Almere.
- During the war, he defeated tens of opposing war parties, giving him the title, Swamp Slayer.
Failures & Embarrassments
- While he is heralded as a hero of the Valserre Conflict, he personally strayed away from the front lines, rarely actually involving himself in the said battles with his war parties.
- He has long since grown sedentary, losing nearly all of his fighting capabilities
- In relation to the previous point, he rarely makes public appearances, and since has begun to lose favor with the people in recent years.
Morality & Philosophy
He lives in a rather morally grey area. While his judicial appearance closely follows the Three Pillars religious sect, his personal life is far more grey. He tends do whatever he must to accomplish his personal aspirations, aside from acts that would tarnish his public image, at least anymore than it already is.

All the kingdom's treasury, amounting well over 100,000 gold, as well as a large collection of sculptures and paintings, most of himself or family members. He spends it frivolously in order to obtain more wealth, often having bandit camps sacked, and then keeping much said acquired wealth for himself. He does maintain the infrastructure of the kingdom as well, although being a bit more stingy and less devoted to these aspects of wealth distribution.
