A new world, one in which magic and mysticism have long since fallen out of fashion, is surging forward into a new age. However, many of the new inventions crafted by the ever brilliant Irrthynians rests within their own borders, hidden away from a world which understands neither them, nor the creations that give their lives such ease. There does exist one thing everyone understands, religion. The Irrthynians, inspired by their eldritch deity Ith, have begun to spread the good news of a religion with few restrictions, love, and personal freedom.   Such freeing and promising views draws a large crowd, both of followers and detractors, further fueling the tension resting on the fragile peace that exists between nations. Thus enters corruption and conspiracy among the lords and priests of the land, attempting to yield out the true intentions of this cult-like following of Ith. Fragile alliances will be tested, horrific actions will be committed, and ancient legends that once lied dormant among the ruins of an age long past shall be resurrected as Ith's influence spreads over the people.
