Långbro (Lao-ng bro)

Långbro is a crossroads settlement in The Fylkirate of Northmen. Situated near the border of The Martellite Empire, Långbro is a bustling trading town in times of peace, and a fiercely defended outpost during war. 
Traders will make a long route along The Dragon's Spine Road to end their travels in Långbro, meaning exotic goods gathered by traders from both nations will be in town peddling their wares. It is not uncommon for a Northman trader to be selling trinkets bought from The Kingdom of the Skywall, or a Martellite merchant to be carrying approved inventions from the dwarves of Härtenstadt. A number of Northman craftsmen make their stalls in town, and as such Långbro has developed a strong community of Sigurd worshippers.
In times of war, the town utilizes several of the mechanisms put into place normally to keep their traders safe from thievery and bandits to use against enemies of The Fylkirate. The garrison is sizable, and when bolstered by the smith-priests in service to Sigurd, their equipment is well maintained.
